MERIDEN -- Firefighters in Meriden were at the scene of a large brush fire near Westfield Road Saturday in Giuffrida Park.
The brush started at 800 Westfield Road and continues to Canyon Drive. Meriden Firefighters said fought the fire for over two hours.
There was no threat to anyone’s home and no injuries were reported.
This brush fire was just one of many that occurred statewide.
