HAMDEN — Police said a motorcyclist has died after suffering from life-threatening injuries following an accident Saturday afternoon.
David Troiano, 38, of Hamden. The passenger on the scooter, a 32-year-old female from New Haven, was also injured, but her injuries were not life threatening.
Police said a pickup truck was traveling north on Hartford Turnpike; and entered the intersection of Davis Street where it collided with the motor scooter, which was traveling east on Davis Street. both people on the scooter were thrown off. The operator of the pickup truck was not injured.
