ROCKY HILL — Interstate 91 North was closed after a car crashed into the woods Saturday morning.
State Public Information Officer Kelly Grant confirmed that the accident resulted in a fatal injury to one person involved.
Police said the 2 car crash occurred around 6 a.m. All lanes going northbound were closed but re-opened by 10 a.m.
No other injuries have been reported nor exactly how many people were involved in the crash.
Details remain limited but it seems that the crash involved a light pole and police said that wires were down.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
