Apartment complex in Glastonbury evacuated after gas leak

GLASTONBURY — A construction crew hit a gas line outside an apartment complex in Glastonbury prompting evacuations.

The Addison Mill Apartments were evacuated Wednesday morning due to the leak.

As of 9:40 a.m., police say the gas has been shut off and the leak was secure.

Addison Road is closed at Hebron Ave and Eastern.

Mill Street is closed at Hebron Ave.

Fire and utility crews are on scene, no injuries reported.
