MILFORD — Milford Police tweeted early Friday morning that they are responding to an emotionally disturbed person in an apartment complex.
They now say that person is dead as of 8 a.m.
Police confirm that a car crash prompted the incident when the man crashed into a pole around midnight.
Police say the shut down is in the area of 25 High Street, which is closed at Green Street.
Also, Factory Lane is closed at Helwig Street.
Adjacent apartments were evacuated as a precaution.
Police ask commuters to avoid that area and seek an alternate route.
