1 person dead after pick-up truck crashes into house in Hampton

HAMPTON — One person is dead after a pick-up truck struck a house.

State Police say that around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, the driver of an Asplundh Truck drove into a house at 465 Hartford Turnpike (Route 6) in Hampton.

The drive, police identify as 32-year-old Patrick Dunn of New London, had succumbed to his injuries.

The accident left a large hole in the foundation of the home.

It’s unknown at this time what caused Dunn to drive into the home.
