CHESTER -- State Police said a body was found in the water near the Chester Ferry Landing Tuesday morning.
Police were called around 10:15 a.m. for a body that was found in the river near the landing.
Police blocked off the entrance to the parking area for several hours. State police are investigating the death and the body was taken to the Office of the Chief State's Medical Examiner.
