State Police identify second person killed in Trumbull crash

BRIDGEPORT — State police have identified the second person killed in a crash on Route 8 in Trumbull last Thursday.

The single-vehicle crash occurred at round 11 p.m. Thursday between exits 7 – 8 on Route 8. The crash happened near the Bridgeport/Trumbull border where Route 25 merges with Route 8.

Police said the car veered off the road to the right and struck a stone wall before rolling.

The front seat passenger, identified as Indira Kranwinkel, 22, of Bridgeport, was thrown from the vehicle. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

State Police had to use fingerprints to identify the driver who was also killed. He has been identified as Adams Jocquille, 24, of Stratford.

The investigation is ongoing.
