Manchester town worker injured in crash

MANCHESTER — A town worker was seriously injured Tuesday morning in a crash downtown.

The crash happened at the intersection of Main and Maple St. around 9 a.m. The driver of the car involved left the scene but was apprehended and is under arrest.

Police said while marking the road the town employee was struck in the head knocking him to the ground. The employee was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
