WINDSOR -- Emergency crews were called to a pedestrian crash on I-91 Sunday evening.
CT DOT said the crash between a pedestrian and a vehicle happened on I-91 Northbound between Exits 39 and 40.
Connecticut State Police said Gaetano Bompastore, 45, of Westfield Mass, was standing outside his vehicle when it was struck by another car driven by Aprell Munford 35, of Springfield, which pushed the first car into Bompastore, injuring him. Four children in Munford's car were treated for injuries.
