MIDDLETOWN — Interstate 91 northbound was shut down for several hours late Saturday afternoon because of a 1-car rollover crash.
The single car went off the road shortly before 4 p.m. between exits 19 and 20. State police say there were three people in the car — one adult and to children ages 3 and 4. The adult driver was taken to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries; the two children were not seriously hurt.
So far no one has been charged or cited; the exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
