MILFORD — State Police say Alfredo Lopez Marrero, from Florida, was killed after a car he was driving broke down, and he was struck on the highway.
Police say the car was disabled in the left lane on I-95 in Milford, just before exit 40.
A different car was driving in the left lane, when it struck the Marrero and the broken down car.
Marrero was rushed to Yale New Haven Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The passenger in Marrero’s car suffered only minor injuries. The driver of the second car was not injured.

This crash is currently under investigation.
