HARTFORD — Connecticut Gov.-elect Ned Lamont and Lieutenant Gov.-elect Susan Bysiewicz have announced members of 15 Transition Policy Committees who will come up with recommendations for their new administration on issues ranging from the arts to agriculture.

The Democratic team announced Wednesday evening the committees will meet for the first time on Tuesday at Eastern Connecticut State University for a policy summit.

The public is invited to attend the event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and suggest policy ideas to the committees during breakout sessions.

Lamont says the committees “bring together some of Connecticut’s sharpest minds.”

The list of committee members is wide-ranging. It includes Cathy Malloy, wife of outgoing Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, former House Speaker Brendan Sharkey and Connecticut Hospital Association President and CEO Jennifer Jackson.
