Expect another round of soaking rain tomorrow. A low pressure system that is currently dumping snow on portions of the midwest will make its way toward the Northeast just in time for the your Monday evening commute. However, this will stickily just be rain. Another 1-2" possible with this storm and gusty winds, especially by the shoreline.
By Tuesday morning this system is long gone. We will see gradual clearing throughout the state and the sun makes it's return. High pressure builds in for the remainder of the week. Temperatures will stay below average, ranging in the low 40s through Friday and overnight lows near or below freezing.
Looking forward to next weekend our next chance for soaking rain comes on Sunday. No frozen precipitation anticipated as we should be well above freezing heading into Sunday.
