Segment 1 and 2:  Remembering Tony Hanson

Tony Hanson was one of UConn’s all-time great basketball players. He starred on some stellar Husky teams in the mid-to-late 1970s, including a team that went to NCAA “Sweet 16” in 1976.

As a humanitarian, he was also top-shelf; dedicating his life to helping “at-risk” children and those with special needs in Europe and CT. Hanson died recently at his CT home of a heart attack -- at age 63

Randy LaVigne and Jim Abromaitis --  two of Hanson’s former teammates – talk about the player, the man – and his legacy

Segment 3: Hip Hop for the Homeless

"Joey Batts” is a Hartford-teacher-by-day and Hip Hop artist at night. He is hosting his annual Hip Hop for the Homeless concert fund-raiser. It  spans 8 CT towns and cities over 10 days in December
