Ask the Atty
I was recently seriously injured when I was rear ended by a lady that I think was drunk because she said she was coming from a party at a local bar. She hit her head on her steering wheel so an ambulance took her away before the cops could check her for being drunk. A friend told me I can get triple damages if she was drunk. If so, is that still true if she wasn’t charged with a DUI? Also does the bar where she was drinking have responsibility?
