MASHANTUCKET  — Tribal police are investigating a New Year’s Day fight at the Foxwoods Resort Casino that left three people suffering stab wounds.

Mashantucket Tribal Police Chief William Dittman tells The Day of New London that a fight broke out in the casino’s garage just after 1 a.m. Tuesday and subsequently spilled into the casino.

Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment, while the third refused treatment at the scene.

No names have been released and police did not disclose the cause of the fight. Police have not announced any arrests.

The below video of a fight went viral on facebook, but it’s unclear if this was the fight in which victims were stabbed. FOX 61 reached out to both Foxwoods and the Mashantucket Police Department, but has not received a response.
