MIDDLETOWN -- Police confirm East Haddam resident Howard Duffy, 43, was killed on Sunday by a fallen tree.
Duffy was an employee of Riggs Distler, an electric and energy company in Rocky Hill.
Police say while Duffy was working on fixing power lines on Millbrook Road around 3:15 p.m., a large tree fell right on top of him.
