Dive team recovers body from Vernon lake

VERNON -- Police said a man was pulled from a body of water in Vernon Tuesday morning.

Search and dive teams were out on the Tankerhoosen River looking for a 43-year-old Nashawn Harvey who went missing while out for a walk with his dog.

According to police, his dog came home, but Nashawn never did. Police are not saying whether the man pulled from the lake is the man they were looking for.

At this time, the identity of the body has yet to be released.
