Car crashes into house in Enfield

ENFIELD — Emergency crews responded to the scene of a car that crashed into a home Friday around noon.

Two residents where inside their home on Steele Road when a car came crashing into the front of the house.

The driver of the car was  83-year-old, Enfield resident Alice Dahl. It is unknown where Dahl was headed , but she lives three minutes away from the scene of the accident.

The driver and two residents suffered minor injuries.

According to officials, the house will be condemned until it is determined safe to reenter.

The Enfield Police Department’s Traffic Division is still investigating the cause of the accident.
