SOCT says the plunge gives people an opportunity to come together with friends and other warm-hearted individuals in their community to have fun and d good.

Participants jump into the chilly waters of a lake or ocean in an exciting, festive atmosphere and earn great incentive prizes by raising money online to support Special Olympics' year-round sports, health, and fitness programs for individuals of all abilities.
