HARTFORD – Emergency crews battled a fire on Barker Street Wednesday afternoon.
The fire happened in a 2.5 story multi-family house just off Franklin Avenue.
The fire called in around 3 p.m. and was knocked down at 3:15 p.m.
All the people got out safely. One firefighter received minor injuries and was treated.
Ten adults and two children were displaced.
The Special Services Unit working with Red Cross in assisting the displaced families.
