Vernon police: Impersonator withdraws $37,000 from bank

VERNON — Police are searching for a man who withdrew nearly $40,000 from a bank account by impersonating a customer on four separate occasions.

Police say this happened on four separate dates at a people’s bank branch inside of stop and shop in Vernon.

If anyone recognizes the man in the photo, they are urged to call the Vernon police department at 860-872-9126. Tips can remain anonymous.
