EAST HARTFORD — One woman has died from their injuries after a crash on Route 15 Monday.
According to the accident report the crash began when a car rear ended a second car that was beginning to stop. That impact of the crash pushed the second car into the third car, which in turn side swiped a fourth car.
Police said Route 5/15 was shut down to conduct an investigation.
The victim was identified Kathryn Guimard, 67. The Office of the Chief medical examiner said on February 23, that Guimard had died from her injuries sustained in the crash.
At least three others were transported to area hospitals for minor injuries.
