EAST HADDAM — A school bus was tangled in wires Thursday afternoon.
Valley Shore Dispatch and East Haddam Fire officials confirmed that an occupied school bus hit low hanging wires at Hillside Road and Lakeshore Drive. The wires were hanging low because of a fallen tree branch. Utility crews were able to free the bus from the wires and it was able to continue on it’s route.
EMT’s and State Police from Troop K in Colchester were on scene, but there were no injuries.
