Two cities, two teams, and a bet.

South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg made a friendly wager this afternoon with Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin for the semi-final game between UConn and Notre Dame in the Women's Basketball Final Four.

"I think the Huskies are going to win tonight so I look forward to eating some chocolates from South Bend, Indiana," Bronin told FOX 61 Friday. "I think maybe he should pay a visit and come deliver them in person," Bronin said.

Buttigieg, a democrat, is running for President.

While Mayor Bronin was at Mazzicato's Bakery on Franklin Avenue Friday, he ran into another mayor. The mayor of Noto, Sicily showed up to the Italian bakery. Corrado Bonfanti is in the United States for several events.

Unfortunately, the Huskies fell to the team from South Bend. Mayor Bronin will no doubt make good on the bet, but he doesn't want anything going stale and giving a bad impression. So he suggested Buttigieg opt for pick-up, rather than delivery, while campaigning for the primaries.
