NEW HAVEN -- Connecticut State Police said they are investigating an officer involved shooting in New Haven.
Officials said around 4:20 a.m., Hamden police were investigating a report of a possible armed robbery in the city. While investigating, police found a car suspected to be involved over on Argyle Street and Dixwell Avenue.
A Hamden officer and a Yale University officer confronted the suspects of the car. Shots were then fired by police.
A woman inside the car suffered non-life threatening injuries and is in stable condition. Police said a man was arrested at the time of the incident, but as of Tuesday evening, police said no arrests have been made.
The State Attorney’s office has assigned the CT State Police Major Crime Squad to take over the investigation.
