WESTPORT — Police say they were called to 132 Beach Side Avenue around 9 a.m. Thursday after a body washed ashore.
The body was an elderly white man identified by police as Antonio Dopoco, 86, of Trumbull. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was called to the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by members of the Westport Police Department Detective Bureau however, his death is not being treated as suspicious.
