PORTLAND -- A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash Wednesday evening and the other driver was charged with DUI.
The crash happened on Main Street (Route 17-A) at the intersection of Marlborough Street (Route 66) about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A Hyundai Tuscon driven by Donna Downing collided with a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Raymond Stebbins, Jr. Both drivers are from Portland.
Downing, who was uninjured, was arrested at the scene and charged with driving under the influence. Stebbins was taken to Hartford Hospital for life-threatening injuries.
