Members of a millionaires group want the state to tax them a lot more ($1 billion more), and they insist they’re serious!! They call themselves “Fair Share CT” and they are proposing that the top income tax rate, for the highest earners (couples earning $5 million or more per year), be raised to just under 10%. Why are they doing this?
