Hartford man stabbed, killed in apartment building

HARTFORD — Hartford police said a 30-year-old man was killed after a stabbing in a Wethersfield Avenue apartment.

According to police, they were called to 185 Wethersfield Avenue just after midnight on a report of a person suffering some ‘serious injuries’ in the 3rd-floor hallway.

When officers arrived, police said they around 30-year-old Hartford resident Coady Barrows wrapped in a blanket, unresponsive and suffering from a stab wound to the chest.

Barrows was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries nearly 30 minutes later.

The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing, and police have not identified any suspects at this time.
