HARTFORD — Police said they are investigating an early morning double shooting.
According to police, two victims, a 40-year-old man, and a 35-year-old woman were taken to St. Francis in a private car around 4 a.m., and the hospital called police.
Hartford police then found the car the two were shot in on Windsor Road.
After speaking to the victims, the investigation moved to I-91 south in Hartford by Jennings Road. State police have now taken over the investigation.
Police described their injuries as serious, but not life-threatening at this time.
