DURHAM — A Durham family was displaced this morning after a fire sparked in the back of a house.
According to officials, two people were home but managed to get out along with their pets.
Fire crews were assisted by Middlefield, Middletown, and North Haven departments. Tankers of water had to be brought in due to no water supply availability.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
