BOSTON – Tiffany Ortiz said her husband, former Red Sox player David Ortiz, underwent surgery for a third time due to complications.
Ortiz said the surgery was performed by Dr. David King at Massachusetts General Hospital and her husband is recovering well and is in good spirits.
Ortiz was shot last month in the Dominican Republic. Several suspects have been arrested in the case.
