NEW HAVEN — New Haven police say two people were stabbed in the early morning hours of Wednesday.
According to police, they were called to the intersection of Bassett Street and Dixwell Avenue for a reported stabbing. When they arrived, they found a man with several visible slash wounds.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Around the same time as that incident, police were told of a private car dropping off a second man at the emergency entrance of Yale-New Haven Hospital. This man had a non-life threatening slash wound to his back.
Police say it’s unknown if the stabbings are related at this time.
