2 hospitalized after house fire in Somers kills dog

SOMERS — Emergency crews were called to a fire that damaged a home Sunday afternoon.

The fire broke out around 4 p.m. at 28 Collins Rd.

Everyone got out of the home. Two people were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and one of the dogs at the home died in the fire.
