EAST GRANBY -- Route 189 was reported closed between North Road and Granbrook Park Road Thursday afternoon. According to East Granby police, the closure is due to a propane leak in a nearby field.
The Simsbury Fire Department and Connecticut Air National Guard are on scene assisting the East Granby firefighters. Firefighters have been burning off the leaking propane.
No injuries have been reported.
The road was reopened later Thursday evening.
