Metro-North warns of afternoon delays due to a planned protest in Grand Central Station

NEW YORK CITY — Metro-North tweeted Friday that travelers should plan extra travel time before leaving this afternoon due to demonstrations in New York.

There is expected to be a planned protest in Grand Central Station by a protest group at 5 p.m.

Metro-North advises travelers to use an earlier train if possible.
