Jonah Karp is FOX61's Sports Director.
Jonah previously worked at FOX54 in Huntsville, AL, where the Alabama Broadcasters Association named him the “Best Sports Personality” in 2022.
Jonah graduated from Syracuse University in 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism. While at Syracuse, Jonah earned national recognition for his sports broadcasting work including two consecutive Top-5 finishes in the Jim Nantz Award rankings presented by Sportscasters Talent Agency of America.
Jonah grew up in Syosset, NY...the birthplace of his love for broadcasting and storytelling. After realizing his lack of athleticism wasn't going to land him a career, Jonah was determined to find a lifestyle that centered around sports. Luckily for him, Jonah loved to talk.
Outside of broadcasting, Jonah loves sushi, SCUBA diving and Mel Brooks movies.
