HARTFORD, Conn. — Lindsey Kane joined the FOX61 News Team in January of 2022.
Although a South Jersey native, she is no stranger to Connecticut.
Before coming to FOX61, Lindsey was a reporter for Western Mass News in Springfield, Massachusetts. She covered national and local stories like the COVID-19 outbreak at the Holyoke Soldiers home and the Worcester police officer who died a hero trying to save a drowning teenager. She was part of the team that won Station of the Year honors and was nominated for several Emmy Awards for their newscasts.
Lindsey is a proud UConn graduate, earning degrees in both Communications and Journalism, and was a member of the cross country and track and field teams. Her running career took her all over the country. While at UConn, Lindsey was the Assistant News Director for the University’s television station, UCTV. She was also a student reporter for the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Awards in New York City.
When not on your TV screens, you can find Lindsey visiting friends, family, and her dog, Tucker, back home at the Jersey Shore, learning new recipes in the kitchen and exploring new spots around New England.
