For those of you who have been watching Gotham, you may have heard mention of the infamous Arkham Asylum, legend in the Batman comics, but mentioned only briefly in the last episode, “Selina Kyle” when referencing the drugs utilized by the children snatchers.
In Fox’s Gotham, the Arkham Asylum is closed, yet sightings in Staten Island indicate the possibility of a grand re-opening of the devilishly sinister “hospital”, or at least some tantalizing flashbacks in episodes to come.
Based on photos taken by the Staten Island Advance’s Kristin F. Dalton, it looks like the Bayley Seton Hospital of Staten Island in Clifton, NY is a strong contender for Gotham‘s hospital of the criminally insane.
Arkham Asylum was a staple in the Batman comics and TV shows, so it would stand to reason that Gotham would see fit to reopen the hospital.
