'Tis the season for holiday markets as we make it to mid-November! The 5th Annual Holiday Market at the Noah Webster House in West Hartford will take place Saturday and Sunday and is a great chance to find the best gifts for family and friends while also supporting small, local businesses! This year, the museum will be offering the market over two weekends. The first is this weekend, and the second will be from Friday, Dec. 6 to Sunday, Dec. 8. Learn more about the market and its hours of operation here.

Another fair to check out this weekend and next is the Arts Center East's Annual Holiday Artisan Craft Fair in Vernon! It will showcase local and regional artisans. Browse and shop for unique items from over 50 artisans. Merchandise will include soap, candles, jewelry, stationary, ceramics, wood crafts, textiles, home decor, and more! Times will vary. Pick up some unique gifts at the Stamford History Center's Pre-Holiday Tag Sale Weekend! This fundraising event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, with an encore day on Sunday! This is a great chance to find treasures and gifts, large and small, including antiques, furniture, art, books, jewelry, and more! All proceeds will benefit the Stamford History Center. It's a dazzling sight to behold at Lyman Orchards! Beginning this weekend and lasting until Feb. 9 is the Lyman Orchards Winter Lantern Festival! It's a bright world featuring over 1,000 Chinese lanterns, all handmade by artisans with decades of experience. This is a whimsical, outdoor walk-through experience to light up and warm up the season! There's something to captivate visitors of all ages, and it will also feature seasonal treats! Another beautiful and glowing event to check out this weekend is the Harbor Glow in Norwich, which is happening Friday night! What's a better way to kick off the weekend than by seeing this spectacular event on downtown Norwich's waterfront? There will be stunning sights to see, including glowing hot hair balloons and fire cauldrons on display through the marina. There will also be a DJ, a magician, craft tables, delicious food and drinks, and so much more! The event runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Learn more about the event here.
