Santa's coming to town in Greenwich for the 15th Annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival & Santa's Workshop! The event runs from Nov. 24 to December 23, and everyone young and old can come take their photos with Santa, meet the reindeer, and enjoy other family-friendly activities. It's a very prehistoric Christmas at Pratt & Whitney Stadium this year as the Magic of Lights event returns in East Hartford! Returning for its third year, this family-friendly drive-through holiday lights festival will dazzle guests as they make their way through the 1-mile track. The event runs from Nov. 23 to Dec. 31. All aboard for the Santa Express! The holiday train event is running from Nov. 24 to Dec. 23 at the Railroad Museum of New England by the Naugatuck Railroad Company. The Santa Express is an afternoon train that gives parents and kids alike the chance to visit Santa Claus. As the train travels through the cold winter wilderness, passengers can meet with Santa and play with the elves! each child will get a special gift and a bell from Santa. It's time to hit the slopes this holiday season! Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort will kick off its 2023 Lifted Spirits Winter Festival beginning Friday! The event will run until Dec. 31. Visitors can enjoy snow tubing, meeting Santa, shopping at the artisan market, enjoying live entertainment, and joining in on the workshops available for all ages! The festival will also feature a snow play area for younger children, Christmas trees and wreaths for sale, and a paintball shooting gallery. Lake Compounce has shifted gears into holiday season mode as its Holiday Lights display twinkles and dazzles park attendees from Nov. 24 to Dec. 31! Take a stroll among hundreds of thousands of sparkling lights as you meet Santa, make your own Snow Club, and stuff-a-bear! Forget the sleigh! Santa is coming to Historic Downtown Mystic by tugboat to help celebrate Mystic's Holiday Lighted Boat Parade! The event will happen Saturday, with Santa's appearance between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and the parade from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.! There will also be a Christmas tree lighting at 6 p.m. This beloved event in Mystic is sure to get anyone attending into the holiday spirit. Learn more about the event here.
It's dazzling, merry, and bright! The 3rd Annual Lobster Trap Tree will be lit this Saturday in Stonington! The display kick-off will be followed by a line-up of local vendors with food and beverages to follow. The tree will be publically on display from Saturday to Jan. 7, 2024.
