MONTVILLE, Conn. — A group of country music icons has emerged from hiatus with a renewed fire and will bring that energy to Connecticut on Friday, March 14, 2025.
Mohegan Sun announced this week that it will host multi-platinum selling act Rascal Flatts next year as part of the band’s “Life is a Highway Tour.” The tour is celebrating 25 years of success, during which Rascal Flatts has become one of country music’s most influential groups.
The performance is part of Rascal Flatts’ 21-stop tour across the country. The show at Mohegan Sun Arena will be produced by Live Nation and kick off at 7 p.m.
Tickets to attend what should be a memorable evening go on sale on Friday at TicketMaster.com and will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, subject to availability.
According to Mohegan Sun, Rascal Flatts said that in 2020, they announced their farewell tour after being on the road extensively for 20 years. They say they simply needed a break. However, the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything.
“Since then, we’ve been able to revisit our unique and special experience as a band, and we’re ready to get out on the road again,” Rascal Flatts said in a statement. “It’s hard to believe that next year will be the 25th anniversary of Rascal Flatts, and that felt like the perfect time to get back in front of the fans who have given us so much.”
Rascal Flatts has announced they will be joined on tour by Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane at Mohegan Sun Arena.
That evening, Rascal Flatts is expected to play hits such as “Life is a Highway,” “My Wish,” “What Hurts the Most” and “Bless the Broken Road” while delivering a soulful and engaging performance with a positive, universal message.
Since 2000, Rascal Flatts has been responsible for 17 Number One hits, over 23.4 million albums sold, 35 million digital downloads and over 12 billion total lifetime streams, with 4.6 billion streams on Spotify alone. The band has also sold over 11 million concert tickets and earned more than 40 trophies from the ACA, ACM, AMA, CMA, People’s Choice and more.
