Give an animal a forever home at the Simsbury Tractor Supply Pet Adoption Event July 28

Event organizers invite you to “adopt your new best friend from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.”

The Tractor Supply in Simsbury on Hopmeadow Street is holding a Pet Adoption Event on July 28 from 12-2 p.m.

SIMSBURY, Conn. — In partnership with Monkey’s Pack Animal Rescue, the Tractor Supply location at 1603 Hopmeadow St. in Simsbury invites residents to attend a Pet Adoption Event on July 28.

According to a release from the store, the event begins at 12 p.m. and lasts until 2 p.m.

“As an active advocate and supporter of pet rescue and adoption, Tractor Supply strives to inform our customers of the pet adoption process by providing a safe and comfortable space for placing adorable animals in welcoming homes,” Kim Davies, manager of the Simsbury Tractor Supply said in the release.

The event is open to the public and friendly, leashed pets. During the event, Monkey’s Pack Animal Rescue will be on site with dogs and cats that are looking for forever homes.

Monkey’s Pack Animal Rescue is a nonprofit established in 2016 by Deb Batsie-Hernandez and Jimmy Hernandez in memory of their beloved dog, Monkey, according to the website.

“Deb and Jim are committed to helping animals in need. In addition to working full-time jobs, they each dedicate extensive time and resources to Monkey’s Pack Rescue efforts,” the website says.

In the release, Tractor Supply is described as a “one-stop shop for all things pet, including a wide variety of food, treats, toys, crates, carriers, training tools and health supplements.”

Davies is excited to bring the Pet Adoption Event to the Simsbury store on July 28.

“Through this and other year-round adoption events, our goal at the Simsbury store is to connect adoptable pets with interested owners,” Davies said, in the release.
