Recipe: King salmon tartare sushi with Ten Homaske

King Salmon Tartare

Serves 4

Ingredients:

1/2 pound of fresh sushi-grade salmon

2 tablespoons of soy sauce

1 teaspoon of sesame oil

1 teaspoon of wasabi

1 ripe avocado

3 shiso leaves

1 tablespoon of chopped chives

Instructions:

Slice your salmon into 1/4-inch cubes and place them in a mixing bowl. 

In a small bowl, whisk together the wasabi, soy sauce, and sesame oil until combined to create the wasabi soy sauce. 

Pout the wasabi soy over the salmon and gently mix until incorporated. 

Cut the avocado into similar 1/4-inch cubes and combine with the salmon. 

Using a ring, build the combined salmon, avocado, and wasabi soy sauce. 

Remove the ring and top with chopped shiso and chives.
