WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. — The terminals at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks are shining bright this holiday season, as its third annual tree decorating challenge is underway.

Airlines and other airport partners have joined in the festive competition, decorating trees with unique themes and ornaments that reflect their businesses or the aviation industry.

Travelers can view the 15 decorated trees near Gate 20, while voting is open to the public on the airport’s Facebook page. The tree with the most ‘likes’ will be crowned the winner and honored with a trophy and special celebration. Voting runs until Dec. 31, and the winner will be announced via social media.

In addition to the tree challenge, the airport is hosting holiday entertainment and musical performances by local artists and students throughout December. The airport is also offering free gift wrapping on select days.
