CONNECTICUT, USA — Meet Aria! She's a senior cat looking for her forever home just in time for Christmas.
The Connecticut Humane Society said Aria is a 15-year-old spayed black and white cat that was found as a stray on the streets of Hartford.
The shelter said that while she's a "senior" cat, she's vocal and outgoing! She has diabetes and, therefore, will need an owner who is experienced with taking care of a cat with those needs.
Aria doesn't have much experience with children, according to the Connecticut Humane Society, but would consider sharing her new home with children over the age of 12 who are gentle and respectful of pets.
The Connecticut Humane Society also said that Aria doesn't have too much experience with other pets in the home, but she would love to share her home with a furry friend!
Aria loves her meal times and will do well with a family that can stick to her strict diet and make sure she doesn't sneak any food or treats from any other animal in the home.
If you would like to adopt Aria or any other animal from the Connecticut Humane Society, head to their website to learn more.
