CONNECTICUT, USA — Meet Onyx! He's looking for his forever family and home before the holidays!
Onyx is a 4-year-old neutered male who is very friendly and potty-trained, the Connecticut Humane Society said. While he's on the calm end of the spectrum, he can still have moments of energy and will need regular exercise.
Onyx's previous family had a lifestyle change and were no longer able to keep him, so now he's with the shelter and looking for a new home.
The Connecticut Humane Society said that Onyx doesn't know his size, and because of that, they recommend he go to a home with children over 7 years old.
Onyx loves playing with other dogs but doesn't have much experience with cats or dogs in a home environment, so a proper meet and greet is important!
This boy has a set of lungs on him as well, so the shelter said it'll be best if he goes to a single-family home or a condo.
The shelter said that Onyx is a wonderful dog with great potential and will do best with a family with experience with larger dogs.
