The excitement for the first year with recreational marijuana on 4/20 is high for businesses like Fine Fettle Dispensary in Newington.

While some people are opting to beat the 4/20 crowds Pharmacist Ludwig Rosiclair said they are ready. They’ll have deals, vendors, and giveaways.
“I’m sure it’s going to be a very busy day. I’m sure we’ll see some new faces, but we are prepared. We have been planning for a while,” said Rosiclair.
It’s a budding industry and the state is seeing green.
The combined sales for adult-use cannabis and medical marijuana totaled more than $22 million for the period from March 1 to March 31. Sales continue to increase each month.
This is making 4/20 an even bigger celebration.
